Litter Details

Puppies may be ready to leave mum on the 12th July' at 12wks old this is because its vital that the puppies develop social skills within the litter, it helps with bite inhibition, mum will help with keeping play appropriate and with building confidence, mum also helps puppies with toilet training, with the added help from us as well and she licks them to keep them clean.

All subject to finding the right homes and the right humans for the puppies, personally I would be hoping for people with older children, if you’ve had Boxers in the past then you know it’s a high energy enthusiastic breed.

Having a dog quite frankly these days is a bit of a luxury with all the price hikes, especially vet bills, and theirs the comforts, bedding, chews, crate training and providing them with a healthy natural diet, my personal choice is raw really and one way of keeping them out of the vets.

All puppies will be weaned straight to raw, I’ll even provide them with enough food to get you started. Vaccinations I don’t do until 10wks that’s because we want the puppies to develop naturally without the unnecessary vaccine interfering with heart and organ development or triggering the body to attack itself, when the time comes I'll let you know what vaccination you'll be asking for Vanguard or Virbac L2 only (unless the area you live in has high levels of leptospirosis), it’s a good idea to prebook this as some vets don’t stock (Vanguard), and if they don't have the same brand they will restart the vaccinations resulting in over vaccinating which can cause serious health problems.

Puppy training and socializing from 12wks, as soon as you get home really get started, they've already had the best start in life learning from mum and their siblings so now you have to continue on by yourselves, it doesn’t have to be a military operation just consistent. I always start with lead walking in the house rewarding puppy for being by my side then wondering out into the garden and so on, puppy isn’t fully vaccinated so nowhere where other dogs have been or rats and foxes etc’ and no puddles.

When your away from home carry them if you’re popping to the shops one of you goes in the other waits outside holding the puppy, the smells, sights and sounds are all things for puppy to experience, until they’ve been fully vaccinated. Biggest mistake people make is rushing out to socialise puppy before “12wk window of opportunity closes” this has already been started, you have the dog’s whole life ahead of you, you’re never going to fit all of life’s experiences into 12wks, so do it calmly, appropriately and consistently throughout the dog’s entire life.

  • Puppies will have first vaccination

  • Puppies will be microchipped

  • Puppies will be health checked

  • Puppies will have pedigree certificate

To help you get started here's my list of the 6 things you need for a puppy:

  1. Crate ( the plastic ones are better and safer, easier to clean too, never leave a collar on the dog whilst in crate )

  2. Bowl

  3. Collar ( stick with the buckle type collars not the cheap plastic clip ones )

  4. 6ft Longline ( biothane long lines probably best )

  5. Flexi Lead ( for outdoor use, 10-20ft is good it allows puppy to explore but still giving you control )

  6. And TIME..

And don't forget I'll always be available and I would appreciate it if you could all join the WhatsApp group so you can share your experiences with the others in the group with a sibling.
